Description

  • ACE-50 is deployed to ensure carriers' end-to-end control of broadband ATM-based services. The ATM-aware NTU (Network Termination Unit) is a carrier class tool, which extends monitoring and maintenance capabilities up to the customer premises.

  • ACE-50 enables smooth and flexible connectivity between users' private networks and the public network. It allows carriers to guarantee QoS, by collecting and measuring remotely the customers' network traffic parameters.

  • ACE-50 collects and processes various statistics from the physical layer (SDH/SONET), such as:

    • Performance

    • Error detection

    • QoS measurement from the ATM layer.

  • Field installation is very simple as no pre-configuration is required. ACE-50 can be configured remotely after installation at the customer premises.

  • ACE-50 supports one dedicated VCC for inband management and software download. ACE-50 supports up to 8 managers enabling redundant network management topologies.
