  • The RDT-8g supports up to 380 simultaneous voice, modem or fax calls per chassis and supports up to 4,000 subscriber lines

  • The RDT-8g supports a busy hour call attempt (BHCA) rate of 19,200. End-to-end delay is less than 37 ms.

  • The RDT-8g supports G.168 compliant echo cancellation, PacketCable NCS profile of MGCP and is GR-303 and Bellcore NEBS level 3 compliant.

  • Built for carrier networks, all common logic, power supplies and fans are redundant and hot-swappable. In addition, the GR-303 signaling channels are redundant.

The RDT-8G is scalable to 4,000 subscribers in a single system and 40 BHCA per DSO. Latency is critically low at 37ms and full G.168 Echo Cancellation.

Class 5 services are transparently brought from the switch to the subscribers using the PacketCable NCS standard to Integrated Access Devices, MTAs and many other readily available subscriber devices.
