Description

R2Adapter™ is a small, low cost signaling appliance designed to enable PABX vendors to penetrate international markets where protocol conversion is a must. Using existing technology based on the FastComm SignalPath™ Signaling Gateway, the R2Adapter™ is equipped to handle multiple country-specific R2 variants that are deployed throughout the world. Using the FastComm protocol library, which includes signaling variants for over 80 countries, the R2Adapter™ enables interoperability between R2 networks and those based on ETSI ISDN, SS7, and SS7 variants. In addition, the robust R2Adapter™ architecture positions the product for future IP signaling.

The R2Adapter™ is designed for PABX vendors, small carriers, and specific application providers, such as video conferencing providers who want to quickly penetrate untapped international markets.

Housed in a small footprint unit capable of carrying traffic over one T1 or E1 trunk, the R2Adapter™ supports the following variants: Telmex, multiple versions of Columbian R2, multiple versions of Brazilian R2, Argentina, Costa Rica, Venezuela, China #1, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Israel, Paraguay, Uruguay, New Zealand, Korea, Greece, Kuwait, and others.
