ACE-2-T1
ATM Multiservice Access Unit |

- ACE-2-T1 is a
Multiservice T1 ATM Access Unit which connects
devices that support either Frame Relay, Ethernet or
ATM DXI to an ATM network.
- ACE-2-T1 has a single
data port that can connect a selected application to
the ATM network. Traffic from this data port is
converted into a stream of ATM cells according to
ATM Adaptation Layer (AAL5).
- The data port is
defined as DCE and supports V.35, RS-530, X.21 and
V.36. Ethernet is supported via a 10Base-T port.
- Setup and monitoring
are provided either via the front panel or via a
terminal interface connected to the supervisory
port.
- ACE-2-T1 supports
in-band and out-of-band SNMP management.
- Maintenance
capabilities include local and remote loopbacks for
fast location of faults, as well as OAM support for
diagnostics and statistics.
- ACE-2-T1 has an
integral LTU, allowing operation without an external
LTU.
- ACE-2-T1 is available
as a compact, stand-alone unit. An adapter kit
enables installation in a 19" rack.
