The SAE Async to Synch converter offers interface conversion
between asynchronous data terminal equipment and synchronous
data communications (modems, time division multiplexers).
Supports standard ITU V.14. Supports rates from 300bps to
19.2Kbps. Length of bytes can be 8, 9, 10 and 11 bits
and supports odd and even parity. SAE is inserted into
asynchronizing DTE interface directly and is linked with
synchronizing DCE interface by cable. Both ports are
V.24/RS232 interfaces. Receives power from the interface
signals.
