K E Y F E A
T U R E S:
Highly
scalable Voice over Frame Relay (VoFR) solution for service
providers and enterprises
Modular
design supports from one T1/E1 to four T1/E1 simultaneous trunks
in a single low profile (2U-high) chassis
Provides
superior voice quality and efficiency utilizing echo
cancellation, silence supppression (also known as voice activity
detection), and comfort noise generation
Optimizes
recurring line costs through award-winning voice compression,
enabling 6 or 8 kbps compression
SNMP-based
network management system
The SX-10
allows next generation carriers and service providers to offer
long distance call-through services to their customers at a
fraction of the cost of traditional telephony. This quad digital
T1/E1 voice gateway offers the most cost-effective access, and
provides the maximum call capacity requirements of emerging
global carriers and voice traffic resellers. These international
long distance carriers are building networks that will allow
them to carry more high quality calls over the same circuits
efficiently, while maintaining optimal efficiency and
reliability.
The
SX-10 allows any phone (standard public telephone or PBX phone)
to place calls to any other phone accross a frame relay network.
Enterprise network customers can use this to reduce telephone
charges by using their existing frame relay-based WAN networks
to carry voice as well as data traffic.
