Founded in 2001, EION Inc. is a privately owned Canadian Company headquartered out of Ottawa, Ontario, with offices globally. Early in 2006, EION acquired the Libra MX, Ultima 3 and VIP 110-24 product lines from Calgary based Wi-LAN Inc. In the deal, EION also acquired the global installed base of Wi-LAN products with a network of over 120 resellers.
